Music Kickstarter plugs

Just a couple of plugs for a couple low-budget projects that are quite different from each other musically, but similar in awesomeness.

First, Crusader, above.  A Chicago area metal band featuring the 40K internet's very own Dethron.  Heck, even his internet handle is metal.  Move over Eddie, it's Death Ron!

Anyways, they're looking for a little support.  I'll let them explain:

As many of you know, in addition to being dethtron (and sometimes anal_parsons_project), I am in a metal band called Crusader.  That's actually part of the reason I've been somewhat absent from the blog scene lately- although being employed again certainly hasn't helped out with my free time any too much.

I'm writing today to ask for a wee bit of support.  We're in the middle of recording a full length album, but doing so without the backing of a label.  This means we're self-financing the entire endeavor.  I'll spare you all the details, but suffice to say, this is phenomenally expensive. 

We are hoping to raise some of the additional capital we need to finish this project through Kickstarter, where we're pre-selling the album in several formats and offering other exclusive swag for our backers. 

By sharing the information I'm about to provide you on your own blogs, FB pages, twitter accounts, etc you would make me the happiest boy in the world. 

Just in case you're worried about this not having anything to do with gaming, I will offer you two things:

1. While the name Crusader has many meanings to us, two of them are certainly related to tanks
2. Here are the lyrics to "Thunderkill."  I think you may find some familiar subject matter.

 The second project is closer to home, for local favorites Big Bang Boom!  They're a rock band with songs with lyrics aimed at kids...mostly, and music that everyone can get into.  They're looking to break out into the wider world.  Check them out, and check out their songs. 

The $20 level gets you three CDs, and if you have kids believe me you'll love having these to play instead of a lot of other "kid music".
