I also got a game in for our campaign with Seneca's Orks yesterday. We did Blitzkrieg from the Battle Missions book, which has only Fast Attack units being able to deploy normally, with everything else in Reserve. He had +3 to Reserves due to his territories in the campaign, so was able to bring everything in quickly. Marbo blew up his Battlewagon and the Ogryn chewed through a Trukk mob and a big foot mob of Orks, but it was hard for me to get across the table. We did manage to tie on objectives, but for purposes of the campaign he got a moral victory so took a tile, and is now tied with Ed for the lead. I don't know if they'll get a chance to play directly before we end the campaign.

Scythiak Usurpation - WIP Techno-barbarian heavy weapons nearing completion
The techno-barbarian lascannon and mortar teams are also nearing completion. Same as with the rest of the platoon, just need to decide on if want more levels of shading or if this is enough, and basing.

ReplyDeleteI'm still surprised by how much you're able to do with these washes, it's really impressive. I'm looking forward to a group shot of the platoon when they're all done. Great work as usual!

ReplyDeleteThanks Loquacious and PsychosisPC! It is indeed a very fun project, and one that threatens to be near never-ending, as I keep thinking of units I want to make for them...
