Space Sharks extra tactical marines
Rounding out the first tactical squad for the Space Sharks, here's the extra bolter carriers, with their various stabby/choppy bits.
As a reminder, here's the first half:
This squad will be coming in via drop pod. The extra large ammo boxes and short ranged energy based support weapons indicates their intention to take a position quickly then hold until relieved...or fade into the background to engage in hit and run attacks.
I'm anxious to get these guys to a playable state. To do so I may either finish the other tac squad or a biker squad (count as troops with bike captain), paint what I have done so far and use the Deatfin termies to fill out points. I'll play around with some lists and see what kind of stopgap list I may come up with to use until I get the rest of the army built and painted.
Or, I may get on a roll and complete the build faster than expected, we'll see!

You think your Space Sharks can take on my Executioners? Blade on fin I'm throwing down the gauntlet, lets get ready to RUMBLE!
ReplyDeleteI like the mixture of parts, making each one just a little different. Weren't you running some fins or additional spikey bits on some of them?
ReplyDelete@Chris - Bring it axe-boy! (well, after I get some more work done)
ReplyDelete@PsychosicPC - a number have the bladefins on the back, plus the bayonets and shark teeth. I didn't add more shoulder blades or anything to the latest batch. I want to be excessive, but not overdo it. ;-)
Rather envious of those lovely metal beakies mate! But on the whole, all of them look great! Hurry up and get a lick of paint on them!
ReplyDelete@Deadestdai - I especially love the old blood claw one festooned with grenades and knives and such.
ReplyDeleteNifty stuff !
ReplyDeleteI still love the steam knight heads
@Impcommander - thanks! Yeah, I'm fond of them too; I'm sure a number will find their way into my CSM as well.
ReplyDeleteAwesome Space Sharks mate. Was browsing them on Custodes last week, for a bit of nostalgia.
ReplyDeleteHey Big G. Yeah, I try to hit up the Custodes now and then, but it's heyday is definitely past (sniff).
